Born and raised in Lower Austria, I finished Berndorf High School top of my class.

In 1989 I graduated from Vienna University of Technology as "Diplom-Ingenieur Physik", approximately equivalent to Master of Physics.

The Institute for Analytical Chemistry hired me for air quality computer simulations. As a bonus, I administrated computers, local networks and internet connectivity.

In 1994 I started developing individual software for successful enterprises. My firm is based in Vienna, Austria.

I love to travel the world with my wife Christiane Fischer, to sail and participate in regattas, listen to classical music and read english literature.
